Before starting my freelance copywriting business, I served as vice president of marketing for a leading corporate travel agency serving Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to that, I held managerial and creative positions at a leading publishing company that sold books, periodicals and software primarily through direct mail.

Environmental commitment
Recently, I served as part time Development Manager and Board Member for Coonamessett Farm Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit research organization focused on sustainable fishing, farming, aquaculture and renewable energy. More recently, my work has focused on ventures related to environmental causes. I previously spent two years as an events coordinator at the Environmental Business Council of the Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey gaining an in-depth understanding of the business and regulatory issues surrounding renewable energy, environmental remediation and sustainable business practices.
Inspired by innovation
I have been "green" since age 12. The epiphany came while bike-riding with my sister on Cape Cod, when we happened upon a sustainable community. There I learned that people could grow their own food, heat their homes (even in New England!), and light their lives simply by tapping the awesome power of the wind, the sun and the creative human spirit. It's a lesson I never forgot.
